How CharTec Uses AI to Work Smarter, Not Harder

Nikole here. As Marketing Manager at CharTec, I’m here to tell you: You should probably be using generative AI tools in your business. Imagine having an extra set of hands (or two) to tackle your to-do list. At CharTec, AI has become just that—an essential co-worker that streamlines tasks, sparks creativity, and boosts efficiency across every department. Of course, it wasn’t always that way. I’ll admit, I was a cautious latecomer. But the MSP industry moves fast—we all know this. If we can’t clone ourselves or add a 25th hour to the day, leveraging AI is the next best thing. In fact, a study by MIT's Sloan School of Management shows that workers using generative AI tools can boost their performance by up to 40% compared to those who don’t. And now that I’ve fully embraced AI, I can’t imagine how I’d get half as much done without it. My department always has multiple projects in motion, and maximizing productivity is essential. AI allows my team to stay focused on driving results while it handles the grunt work. Here are the AI tools I rely on the most:

Marketing: AI for Content & Creativity

• ChatGPT – I’m a trained copywriter, but I just can’t compete with the speed at which ChatGPT generates solid outlines, emails, and content—especially when trained in our brand voice. It’s way better than staring at a blank Word doc waiting for inspiration to strike.
• Hemingway Editor – An excellent content editor that improves readability—especially useful for web content and ensuring we’re speaking our ideal clients’ language.
• Dragon Dictation – The gold standard for voice-to-text. I use it for interviews, working from video, or even when an old arm injury makes typing painful.
• Endel App – This AI-generated soundscape helps get my brain into deep focus for writing and strategic planning. I don’t know how it works, but for me, it’s like flipping a switch in my brain.
