CharTec Immersion San Diego—our final in-person MSP training event of 2024—took place last week. The two-day event inspired copious amounts of notetaking and meaningful relationship-building, as executives, managers, and sales and marketing teams learned CharTec’s signature processes in sales, marketing and operations.

Curious to know what it was like from the inside? Here are some of the highlights:

CharTec Immersion Quotable: "A mediocre process done consistently is better than the best process done inconsistently."CharTec Immersion brought the heavy hitters.

Nick Points & Josh Gossett drove home the keys to a successful sales process that is proven time after time to close bigger and better deals. Brandi Rogers brought a wealth of information for those ready to get their feet wet with MSP marketing. And Dan Martin showed attendees how they can make ITIL Lite work for them to improve efficiency and their bottom line.

CharTec Immersion Quotable: "Today's AI is going to be the worst you've ever used."Our vetted sponsors added value and connection with their expertise.

We at CharTec pride ourselves on bringing in sponsors that we know and trust to provide value to our attendees. Immersion San Diego was no different. These folks really delivered with the quality of their presentations.

Lindsay Hayes of Breach Secure Now made the case for using AI in your business. She gave everyone an actionable introduction to AI tools and usages and how Breach Secure Now can help teams learn to use it safely.

Guy Rosenzweig of Coro broke down what MSPs need to know about cybersecurity with humor and discussed how Coro is uniquely positioned to provide adaptable solutions for MSPs.

Tim Yaussi of CorKat showed why moving clients to the cloud has never been easier and what sets CorKat apart from other cloud providers.

Juan Fernandez of SuperOps gave a brilliant presentation on how MPSs can embrace today’s tech advances in AI, automation and cybersecurity to secure a competitive edge in the marketplace.

CharTec Immersion Quotable: "Market what you can manage."The beautiful venue, UCSD Park & Market, proved to be the ideal space.

They provided everything attendees, sponsors and speakers needed, creating an experience that was as close to an Academy at CharTec HQ as we could have dreamed of. Not only that, but the location couldn’t have been better. Situated mere blocks from the heart of the Gaslamp Quarter in Downtown San Diego, everything from supermarkets to five-star restaurants and scenic views were all within reach.

CharTec Immersion Quotable: Culture happens by accident if you don't cultivate it."After Immersion, evening entertainment at Café Sevilla was a whole mood.

CharTec Nation works hard and plays hard. Attendees enjoyed cocktails, sangrias, Spanish tapas and flamenco performers. Then, the night’s DJ brought the house down with ‘90s and “Early Aughts” tunes that got everyone singing and dancing along. Thank you, CorKat Cloud, for sponsoring!

CharTec Immersion Quotable: "It's called Five Prerequisites to a Sale for a reason. Not four. Not three."We celebrated CharTec Regional Sales Manager Ashley Borelli’s birthday.

Ashley has been with CharTec for 11 years, working with CharTec members. Always keeping her finger on the pulse, Ashley’s wisdom is invaluable to both members and the CharTec team alike. It was a joy to be able to celebrate her with so many that know and love her.
