What makes D&H different than other distributors when it comes to cloud?

We purpose-built our entire program to focus on MSP’s who serve the SMB market. For example, our Cloud Marketplace makes it easy to purchase and manage multi-vendor cloud subscriptions, allows MSP’s to add their own services to the platform, integrates to PSA tools such as ConnectWise and Autotask for invoicing, and is easily branded by MSP’s to use with their customers. And we built a program called Success Path to Cloud that lays out an easy 8-Step process to optimize your business, and we bring in industry experts to deliver content and best practices for each step. We heard great feedback from MSP’s who pick up great advice on how to grow a profitable cloud business. We’re also a leading distributor of hardware, and especially endpoint devices, and this makes us a one stop shop for MSP’s.

What do you see as the number one opportunity for CharTec members, and how can D&H help them capture it?

Infrastructure as a Service – or IaaS – is one of the fastest growing technology segments forecasted at over $50B and 21% growth in 2020. D&H has developed an MSP-centric Azure program to help build a go to market plan, support opportunities with a team of technical resources, and provide tools, platforms and services to help MSP’s wrap managed services and easy invoicing around Azure. We’re seeing great success with our new Azure program!

What is the D&H secret weapon that can help CharTec members drive profitable growth?

Let me start with a little background. There are 78 million SMB corporate workers – or seats – in the US and the average annual IT spend per seat is $5000. That’s a $390B market opportunity. We developed a methodology called Monetizing the Seat that helps MSP’s use a configuration tool to build solutions that include hardware, cloud, bandwidth and services and price it in a per-seat model with monthly payment options. If salespeople at our MSP partners use this method, they can multiple the number of seats at the customer by $5000, quickly understand how much of that they captured, and build plans to win the rest of the annual per seat spend. We’re training MSP’s every week on how to win more business using this process, and it’s producing great results! We’d love to engage one on one with CharTec members to help them implement this model.
